The ski resort offers runs of all difficulty levels. In the upper part, the slopes lead over open terrain. As of Bormio 2000, the slopes lead through forest aisles down to the valley. There are exclusively easy slopes in Bormio 2000. In the upper and lower part of the resort, the slopes are generally challenging. There are also two marked freeriding zones.

Guests access Bormio 2000 using a modern 8 person gondola lift leading up from the valley. The upper part of the ski resort is connected with modern chair lifts (most with weather protectors). There are also j-bars and people movers available for beginners.

Due to the high altitude, the ski resort is very snow secure. The lifts open already at the beginning of November and run until the beginning of May. 90% of all runs also have snow-making capabilities.

The slope preparation is very good.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
The ski resort can only be accessed from the North via Switzerland, the Ofen Pass and Livigno. You must pay 30 EUR toll at the Munt la Schera tunnel before Livigno for the way to and from the resort. Please note the passage times for the tunnel as it is only one lane and on Saturdays, the tunnel is only open going in one direction.

Chalet dei RododendriIn the middle of the ski resort at 2166mThe Chalet dei Rododendri is located centrally within the ski resort and offers many local specialties from Alta Valtellina.
You can end you ski day in a relaxed way up on the mountain. It is always possible to find a spot on one of the many sun terraces. In the village itself, there are many nice bars such as the Wish Bar, the Braulio Wine Bar or the Clem Pub.

There are easy slopes for beginners only in Bormio 2000 and practice runs directly at the mountain station of the 8 person gondola lift. Magic carpets and three j-bar lifts provide access to an easy area for the beginners. The upper part of the mountain is only for practiced skiers and snowboarders. There is no easy valley run. There is also a magic carpet in the valley for practicing.
