From Big Sky Mountain Village you can ride up to the Andesite and Lone Mountain. With the high speed quad Ramcharger you can reach the Andesite Mountain. From here you can ski or ride easy and wide runs down to the high speed quad Southern Comfort. From the run Deep South the members of the private ski community Yellowstone Club can ski or ride back to the Yellowstone Club and on the base of Southern Comfort you can change into the private ski area Spanish Peaks. Very recommendable are the runs down to the high speed quad Thunder Wolf. From the base of Thunder Wolf you can reach the triple chair Lone Moose via a flat slope. The Lone Moose lift takes you up to the Flat Iron Mountain. Via Southern Comfort or Thunder Wolf you can go back to the Andesite Mountain. Runs with all levels of difficulty lead back to the Mountain Village. From the village you can take the high speed quad Swift Current to the runs below the Lone Mountain. Following the triple chair Lone Peak takes the skiers and riders up to The Bowl where the tram to the Lone Peak (3398m) starts. The tram is a gondola for 15 person with two cabins. From the top you can ski or ride only advanced to extreme runs through the rocks or bowls back to the valley. The runs on the South Face, e.g. Liberty Bowl or The Wave lead all down to the double chair Shedhorn which takes you up to the Duck Walk run. Via this run you can ski or ride back to the front side. The runs underneath the tram are extrem steep and there are a lot of rocks. This is only for very advanced skiers! Via the North Summit Snowfield, also an extrem run, you can reach the Moonlight Basin and you can ski or ride down to the Six Shooter (Attention: Lone Peak Pass required). From the base of the tram you find also very nice and long runs down to the Mountain Village and you can reach the 3 Real Estate lifts, White Otter (double chair), Cascade (triple chair) and Little Thunder (double chair), too. These lifts are only access lifts for for the skiers and riders from the other side of the road to the Big Sky ski area. If you keep left from the Lone Mountain you can reach the double chair Challenger, which open op advanced runs. If you ski further via easy to intermediate runs you can reach the Iron Horse quad and the Moonlight Basin. You can use the Iron Horse quad with a Big Sky pass as well with a Moonlight pass. If you have only a Big Sky pass you should keep on the top station of the lift to the left direction Big Sky which you can reach via the Fast Line run. We recommend to purchase a Lone Peak Pass so you can ski both resorts - Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. Especially for the advanced skiers or riders from Lone Mountain can use the terrain down to the Six Shooter. The two resorts together are the largest ski area in North America. In the Mountain Village are a lot of good restaurants and if you like to make your break at the top we recommend the new Pinnacle Lodge on Andesite Mountain.
