Thanks to a very large and free ski bus network and a direct train connection at the Almkopfbahn lift in Bichlbach, the ski resort can be accessed very easily without a car. 80% of energy requirements are supplied from renewable sources. Reforestation areas and woodland areas which are off-limits for skiers are effectively protected with fences.

• Train connection
  The Almkopfbahn lift in Bichlbach is connected directly to the train line between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Reutte with its own train stop. The train journey is free of charge for visitors with a Tiroler Zugspitz Arena guest card.
