Town/village at the ski resort: Bayrischzell
About 80 km south of Munich, the largest connected ski resort in Germany (according to surface area) is waiting. With 31 km of slopes of all difficulty levels at elevations between 800 and 1563 m, there is something here for everyone. The majority of the slopes, which are integrated nicely into the natural environment, range from easy to intermediate in difficulty level. Families with children will especially find what they're looking for. With its 3 chairlifts and 18 t-bar lifts, the Schneeleo children's area and a funpark for snowboarders, the Sudelfeld ski paradise is presented as a diverse and family-friendly winter sports resort. Demanding skiers and profis will enjoy the black runs to the Rosengasse and on the Waldkopfhang. But a ski day wouldn't be complete without a nice break: cozy huts and mountain restaurants welcome guests to relax, have something to eat and enjoy each others' company.
