The ski resort Balderschwang – Hochschelpen/Riedberger Horn is located in the Upper Allgaeu (Germany, Allgaeu). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 30 km of slopes available. 11 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,020 and 1,500 m.
Balderschwang is located at 1,044 m above sea level on an idyllic high plateau in the Allgäu Alps. It is the highest community in Germany and also the smallest independent community in Bavaria. The high plateau is well-known for its snow reliability, which is responsible for its nick name, "Bavarian read more Siberia". Two chairlifts and nine tow lifts provide access to approx. 30 km of slopes of all difficulty levels. The ski resort is suitable for everyone, from beginners to racers. 40 km of snow-reliable cross-country trails, winter hiking paths and a toboggan run complete the winter offering.
