Beginners can explore the easy slopes surrounding the Lognan middle station. There are easy slopes at the Marmottons, Tabé, Plan Roujon and Retour Pendant chairlifts. The slopes to the Grands Montets, Bochard, Herse and the valley run are off limits for beginners. There is also a tow rope lift at the base station for the very first attempts on skis.
