From Highway 89, well-constructed roads lead to the base stations in The Village at Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows. The ski resort can be accessed directly from both base stations. The Base to Base gondola links the two parts of the ski resort. Adequate free parking is available around the base stations. Winter equipment is essential if fresh snow has fallen.
