The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Adelboden/Lenk – Chuenisbärgli/Silleren/Hahnenmoos/Metsch

Protecting the environment is a high priority here: Forest and wildlife protection zones are restricted for skiers and specially cordoned off. In cooperation with the Licht- und Wasserwerk Adelboden, the Fuhrenweidli base station, the Sillerenbühl mountain station, the Hahnenmoos mountain and base stations, the Lavey mountain station and the Bergläger middle station have been equipped with solar power systems. The Kleinwasserkraftwerk Engstligenalp is an example of how electricity can be produced efficiently and in an environmentally-friendly manner. The ski resort supports farming on the mountain pastures and sustainable tourism.
